This is a violation of the NFL Double Pass Rules, and it will draw a penalty flag from the officials.
The Cardinals lost two safeties from last year but still have one of the stronger secondaries led by Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu. They won the battles enough early on as the Lions struggled with some timing and drops from Kenny Golladay and TJ Jones. But by the end, Golden Tate was uncoverable, catching 10 of 12 passes for 107 yards. That forced Arizona to pay more attention to him, and that’s when Golladay’s hype train took off with two touchdowns, including the highlight reel dive for the 45 yarder. Pittsburgh’s best chance some would say its only chance is to get its big three of QB Ben Roethlisberger (7), RB Le’Veon Bell (26) and All Pro WR Antonio Brown (84) going from the start and never stopping. Bell has come up with enormous performances in his first two playoffs games, rushing for 167 yards vs. Miami and 170 against Kansas City. His patience to find a hole and then his burst through it, combined with slick moves and power, make him the perfect postseason back.
